As a relative new Carterton local it has been a very positive experience to be embraced and accepted into the friendly, vibrant local community. Hence the new CartertonNZ.com website seemed like an opportunity to give something back.
Capturing the energy and personality of our town was key for this regional project to succeed. The project, inspired by the Place Making scheme started in 2014, aimed to showcase our town and encourage people to stop and visit our shops, attractions & events... we have so much on our doorstep!
Moreover, the website is interactive, allowing users to submit their own Wairarapa-based events and Carterton-based businesses.
