Place Making Carterton
The Carterton Placemaking project is a joint venture for business and community to work together to make Carterton a great place to live and visit.
Initiated by the Carterton District Business group (CDBI), working with the local council, Creative Communities International, local organisations and, most importantly the people of Carterton, the project aims to quantify where the town is now and find directions for change.
Monday, 12th May 2014
The Carterton Events Centre will host the project roll-out from 7pm, with a gathering (all welcome) presented by David Engwicht of Creative Communities. With some initial analysis of the town's central business district already in place, David will feed back the current situation, and provide inspiration for how the town might move forward.
This is an important occasion for Carterton and could lead to a mini-revolution in The Heart Of The Wairarapa; we just need YOU! Community and business will drive the change, albeit with ideas and oversight from David and the CDBI, with the thought that what you put in, you will get back... and then some!
See you at the Events Centre on Monday :)
