I had hosted the old Westwood House website for a number of years. It was originally inherited from another local web designer who had recently retired, so the codebase and visuals represented quite an old site of 20 years. Now, however, was the perfect time to upgrade. The new site proudly adds seamless integration with Booking.com availability and introduces a fresh new design.
To ensure peak performance, the underlying architecture was completely overhauled. The new website is built on WordPress, providing a robust and user-friendly content management system. Furthermore, it is powered by PHP8, ensuring lightning-fast load times, enhanced security, and reliable modern performance.
Rather than relying on generic, off-the-shelf templates, we crafted a completely bespoke build and design. This tailor-made approach perfectly captures the unique character and warmth of Westwood House. The final result is a beautiful and highly functional digital storefront that makes booking a relaxing stay easier than ever before.
